Cocktail Semi-Formal

Your nice clothes. Err on the side of too fancy, but we don't want you to feel uncomfortable. No one will be turned away for weird outfits. Don't test that. If you want to step outside of the dress code, particularly in a downward direction, we only ask that what you choose makes you feel your best. Evening gowns, cocktail gowns, suits and ties are all very welcome, and it probably goes without saying, but do not feel obligated to binary gender norms (ever again).

The venue is an outdoor garden with paved paths, and the ceremony may require walking on grass, so we don't recommend stiletto heels - thick heels or wedges should be fine. There will be dancing!

There's a special parking lot for the wedding close to the rose garden, and there will be signs indicating the way. The venue is accessible without any stairs. You won't need to hike.

We expect a warm evening, but if you get cold easily, please bring a light layer for the later evening.

It won't! But if it does, we have space in the garden that is covered and the show will go on.

Oh you've been paying attention to southern California weather, huh. In the case of wildfire the show likely won't go on as planned, but we will of course keep you up to date on any emergency changes.

Your invitation should make it clear who is on the guest list. The kid plan is just for the wedding party and immediate family. We do get it if that’s a problem, and no, you don’t have to send a gift. We love you.

We love to accommodate those. Really! The full menu of appetizers and main courses and cake will be gluten free. Please let us know of any additional restrictions as early as possible.
